Here's a method for using to Google to find vacancies directly on any website - the site operator:
Copy and paste this into Google -
site:example.com "job title" location
Replace the three sections appropriately. For example
site:workable.com "marketing manager" london
Workable is an application tracking system, one that is cloud based. Many employers use it, so by searching specifically on it, you'll bring up every live vacancy.
However - it isn't time bound, so you'll get vacancies that were listed a year ago as well as recent one.
So - click on Tools to the right of the results. Filter by time. I'd start with the past month, then if you do it regularly you can run 'today's' results only.
Replace workable with any other website - keep a log of ATSs you apply through.
Replace job title with similar job titles to iterate - "head of marketing" "digital marketing lead"
Replace location to those near you.
Play around to optimise results.
Note: some ATSs have specific addresses for vacancies, such as myworkdayjobs.com
You can search any website. LinkedIn is in such a mess right now, you might even find it easier to use this method.
This is an example of x-ray searching, one of the sourcing techniques recruiters use, and another example of how a job search inverts recruitment.
Something I write about in my 5 star rated book - click A Career Breakdown Kit if you want to improve the steps you take, reduce your missteps (such as ATS drivel advice) and improve your odds.
These articles make up its backbone, and will be forever free, but if you want to support my work, buying a copy will help me continue to pay it forward.
